Characters

Keep the same person, pet or mascot across every image and video. Save them once with a few photos and the traits to keep, then pick them in Create or Animate.

How characters work

  1. Add a character with up to six photos and a short list of traits to keep.
  2. In Create, choose them under "Use a character". Their photos become reference pictures and their traits go into your prompt.
  3. In Animate, choose them to start a clip from their photo.

Models that read reference pictures keep a character most consistent: Seedream, Nano Banana, FLUX Kontext and GPT Image are good places to start.
