Describe what to remove, such as "the car on the left" or "the power lines", and the AI erases it and fills the gap to match the scene.

How to use the erase an object tool

  1. Add a picture by uploading, pasting or choosing one from your media.
  2. Describe what to remove, for example "the person in the background".
  3. Click Erase and download the cleaned-up picture.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. It is free with an OpenTools account, up to 30 edits an hour across the edit tools.

Can it remove clothing?

No. Requests to remove or change clothing, or to add nudity, are refused.

What happens to my photo?

It is saved to OpenTools storage so the AI service can read it, then processed by fal.ai. The result is saved to your private library on the Create page, and you choose whether to share it.
